Keeping Fit Inside & Out
I believe in keeping physically fit inside and out, so every week, I weight-train, attempt to Dance at Broadway Bodies, do Hatha Yoga, Bikram Yoga, and my new love is Intensati. In season, I run outdoors along the Hudson with my dog Bella, roller blade, and bike as much as I can to get to appointments and errands. I ski and scuba dive a few times a year, and am learning to SnowBoard. I will try any sport adventure but Trapeze haunts me until I breakthrough that fear! I also try eat fairly healthy, resist temptations (still a work in progress), drink moderately, and get 7 hours sleep.

I am a learning Junkie! I can't get enough of it, and gravitate away from books and towards the Experiential - Innovation in Learning, Edu-Tainment, Games & Exercises - basically FUN ways to learn. For me, it's more fun in a group setting and to "Create In Action From What Shows Up". I recently took a Group Facilitator Class which used PsychoDrama and Sociometric Exercises as part of the Learning - I LOVED it. I am still afraid of Improv but its on my list for 2010!

Love the Outdoors & Nature
I tend to travel to places of natural beauty that are on or near the Water, especially the Ocean. I am a huge Whale & Dolphin fan, and was even a 'docent' once on a Whale Watching Boat out of Montauk. I love animals of all kinds, watching birds in their natural environment (favorite sighting was a barn owl in NJ, a pelican in Costa Rica, and am still mesmerized by the common brilliant Cardinal I see in Sag Harbor), hiking, waterfalls, hot springs, and all the world's natural wonders I have yet to see.

My other love is Open Air Driving - I have driven a Convertible since 1989, when I got my first joy - a yellow 71 VW Bug named Chiquita. After being blown off the road by 18 Wheelers, I drive a safer but still fun Mini Cooper Convert - Warning - I will stop for Sunsets and I may want to Coach with you at the Beach or on a Hike!!

Spirituality
Spiritually, I am just exploring that side of me more and more - I am open-minded and take the nuggets that inform me, open my eyes, and remind me of what grounds me. I believe in one of my client's mantras 'that we are always in our rightful place'. I believe in the Journey and not the Destination. I believe in the power of our breath, our minds, and positive thinking. I am inspired by Music.

At a recent conference, I had my Aura reading done, and it came back in strong colors of red and orange, representing the "Mystic". I'll take that!! I met a fabulous woman named, Shareane Baff (www.intentionsjewelry.com), a Spiritual Advisor who told me of the Elements (as in Feung Shwei) and informed me that I am "Wood". I was bothered by the "alone" part, but loved the fact that the Fire sign needs me!!! I appreciate my Birthday (I was born on the same day as my Grandfather who I never met) and my Scorpio sign and what my Astrological Book of Birthdays says about me...especially since its so consistent with my Strengths Test....

November 5ths prefer doing things in their own inimitable way. A true visionary, your forte is the ability to spot cutting-edge trends long before anyone else does. Sometimes your mind seems to focused in some other dimension. Yet, despite your dreamy, artistic temperament, you are doggedly determined and a real powerhouse when it comes to getting things accomplished.
